Lindsey is an oxymoron: she grew up in Hawaii, but doesn't surf; she's an English major, but hates reading; she's 94% Irish, but hates Guinness. She's also a liar. At the ripe age of 21, she landed a dream internship at Atlantic City Weekly: drink wine and write about it. Since then, she has been a food freelance writer for various newspapers and magazines, earned a Masters and a teaching credential, and spends every waking minute thinking about her dog, food, and where to travel next.

   WHO WE ARE

Meet Lindsey: Teacher by day, Amateur home chef by night, Dog mom and Wanderlust always.

Meet Joseph: Writer by day, Gamer by night, Dog dad and Taste-tester of Lindsey's meals always.

Joseph is a mustached, born-again vegan golem of video-game-loving flesh with almond milk pumping through his veins. He write short stories, which have become less bad after earning his Masters in Fine Arts. You will often find him cuddling with the little kangaroo-rat angel Ellie, randomly doing push ups, or huddled alone in the dark busy reading the latest chapters of his favorite manga.

Meet Ellie: Peanut-butter lover by day, Sock destroyer by night, "Good girl" always.

Eleanor "Ellie" Appleton-Lewis is the best thing to ever happen to her humans. She was adopted through a San Diego-based rescue non-profit on April 1, 2017. Part boxer, part lab, part beagle, part angel, Ellie is a mystery and a joy. She loves hogging the bed, barking at litter (she hates litter!), and playing with dogs 10 times her size. Like her humans, she loves to eat, sleep, and explore.
